Valentina Canavesio
Valentina is a Brooklyn-based film and TV producer. She has worked on features including  These Birds Walk which premiered at SXSW and My Italian Secret. She is the founder of Ayoka Productions a non-profit that uses short films to bring attention to inspiring grassroots initiatives.
Her television work includes having produced the highest rated specials of Italian Public television’s longest running show, Linea Verde.
Her passion for social justice issues has led her around the world for various NGOs and the UN producing short-form content in places such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Pakistan and the Philippines, often as a one-woman crew.
From this work, her film Biblioburro, shot in Colombia, aired repeatedly on PBS and was selected as one of the audience’s favorite stories of the year. The film was later turned into a children’s book that has been translated into five languages.

Omry Maoz
Omry is an editor with over a decade of work in non-fiction film, television, and web media. Most recently, he edited the 4-part PBS series Constitution U.S.A, a journey through the nation’s founding document as experienced through the lives of modern-day Americans. Omry is co-editor of To Tell the Truth, a 6-part PBS historical series on the evolution of documentary films. He was a contributing editor on Dancing in Jaffa, which premiered at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival, as well as the PBS special Women Who Rock, and the MTV True Life series. Other notable films he has worked on include: Valentino: the Last EmperorKilling Kastner: the Jew who Dealt with the Nazis, and Pray the Devil Back to Hell. Omar Mullick
Omar is a film director and cinematographer known for his work on the 2013 feature film These Birds Walk. In 2012, Filmmaker Magazine named Omar one of the 25 New Faces of Independent Film. Trained as a photographer, Omar’s work has been published in The New York Times, Foreign Policy Magazine, National Geographic and TIME, receiving awards from the Doris Duke Foundation, the Western Knight Center for Journalism, Annenberg and Kodak. His current work as a cinematographer and director includes as clients HBO, VICE, CNN, PBS.

Julie Roué
Music Composer and Sound Designer

Julie has worked as a sound editor for 8 years, on feature films like Adore, starring Naomi Watts and Robin Wright, or Up for love, starring Jean Dujardin.

As a young composer, she works for short films and documentaries on both sides of the Atlantic. In 2012, she was selected to be part of the Film Music Masterclass of the International Film festival of Aubagne, directed by the composer Pierre Adenot. In 2015 she was one of the young musicians invited to join the Emergence workshop, directed by Elisabeth Depardieu.

She is also a member of the french music collective Tympanistan, who composed music for Dior, Chanel and De Fursac.
